We've got some old used equipment (really old) in storage.  I'll take a look to see if anything is working well enough to use for training.

What is too expensive?

Well, we looked into the older equipment stored in Berlin. We do have 3 20 year old "MK2000" (manual caliper with light reflection system), and one 25 year old "DP1" (also manual calipers with light reflection system).

Unfortunately, none of these are presently working. There is a chance that we could make one good MK2000 out of the 3, but the time needed may be cost prohibitive, and the end result is negligible as these units have all been in service for many years.

I believe your facility may be better served by a backup system which could also be used for training purposes. Have you considered this option?

"Back by Popular Demand"

Because of the need for a low-cost manual seam inspection system, we have brought back the VSM III (Video Seam Monitor). Now the VSM IV, this system is competitively priced and features a new flat panel video monitor.
